Oops .. did you say "pure religious bigotry" .. ok here's you some

"pure religious bigotry"

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of PanAm Flight 103!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the military barracks in Saudi Arabia!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the American Embassies in Africa!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM bombing of the USS COLE!

REMEMBER the MUSLIM attack on the Twin Towers on 9/11/2001!

REMEMBER all the AMERICAN lives that were lost in those vicious MUSLIM
attacks!

Sounds like the MUSLIMS have been dishing out some "pure religious
bigotry".

We could blame these bombings on say ..
Methodists from Montana?
Mennonites from Minnesota?
Moravians from Michigan?

We could blame it on Charismatic Catholics from Columbia or
blue-blooded Baptists from Bloomfield ... but we know what the *truth*
is.

Yep, now we know the *truth* about some "pure religious bigotry".

Terrorism has nothing to do with religion. It's just comes down to
people that don't have a pot to **** in vs. people that have to buy ab
machines because they have too much food. Don't blame a religious
group. It's a radical bunch of AWipes egged on by an environment that
hates us for what we have. If America had the combined wealth of Cuba
do you think the terrorists would have attacked us because we're
Christian? Get a grip stupid. Even your fat self hates people that
are richer than you. Any no, you don't go out and kill them but
sometimes you probably feel like it. You're pure stupid.

Are you saying, "If Osama bin Laden were wealthy, he wouldn't be a
terrorist?"

You get a point for the good point Frank. "But " the average person over
there is far from being a bin Laden and easily influenced by dreams of a
great afterlife if he just fights or straps some dynamite to his ass.

Thankfully, Brother Stair is doing his part to reduce that incentive.

The strange thing is, most recent Western terrorists, or terrorist leaders,
have had average or better wealth. Think of the Red Brigades or the
Weathermen.

While there certainly are terrorists in the poorest parts of Central and
South America, Africa and Asia, they tend to stay put and limit their
horrible crimes to their neighbors.

The suicide bomber seems fairly recent to me. I first became aware of the
tactic with the bombing of the Marine barracks Beirut. Suicide bombings
seem like a desperate, last resort tactic. Sort of like the Kamakazi pilots
of WW2.

Or is it an honor? They are revered like Hollywood stars in some parts of

the middle east. They even have what's like hero trading cards. I learned
this from a show I saw a month or two ago on Sundance where Francis Ford
Coppola did a documentary on the Palestinian/Israel conflict. It was
interesting. I'm trying to remember the name of it?

I didn't see the Coppola piece, but honor makes as much sense as any other
explaination.

I think there's alot of risk for the terrorists in playing the suicide
bomber card. The Osama bin Ladens now have to prove that God is really on
their side. Even the numbnuts of the Islamic world will want to see some
signs of success. They've had a few, like the American pullout from Beirut
and the Spanish election, but they will have to keep the ball rolling. This
Islamic terrorist threat could hang on for a long time, but I'm sure that
when the terrorist leaders have nothing to show but failure for years, they
will have a hard time convining anyone that they are truely speaking for
God.

It'll also help if we don't make life easy for their recruiters.

You may be right. I have thought that myself. Plus the worlds getting
smaller and the words out just how nice us Americans live. It will get
contagious in time and we don't have the room so they will have to make
their own free little democracies with MTV and microwaves.

FD,

YES - To the 'secular' Soldier of the USofA and many other
"Civilized" Countries suicide is not standard Training Metric.

But to a "Person of Faith" like an Islamic Fundamentalist
Suicide Bombing is the Ultimate Statement of Faith.
It Says: I Believe! - I Have Faith! - Follow Me!
