Yup, the honest truth (hope it doesn't affect my meager pension from
there!).

Noooooooo. I wouldn't do that. That'd be pretty mean and vindictive, and it
don't have anything to do with you.

I've had something shipped to me from someone in her via UPS and something

is
terribly wrong with the speaker (I won't say names)..... I'll NEVER be

able to
use it. It looks GREAT, nice and shiny and old. But it was more than

likely
drop kicked by a worker because this piece is built like I tank and I'll

never
be able to use it because the speaker is shot in it, it's fine if turned

up at
the 'almost' second marker. After the second marker, forget it.Sux. :-(

Many speakers are repairable. Sometimes speaker coils can be re-centered or
similiar repairs. There are still alot of old speaker cones around, if it
needs to be reconed. Speaker repair is oftentimes discussed on
rec.antiques.radio+phono.

Sure Frank. If you know how to do it. If it was a simple as nail polish on it,
I could do that. But I've had my left arm ribbed open from my tricep down to my
forearm and it jerks all by itself and aches like a ______----you figure out
the word.

Now they want to fix their boo-boo. And I'm left handed by the way, the one
they severed up like a pie. What originally was supposed to be a 2-3" scar..4
at the MOST tuned into a foot. Reason: Well, Mr____, when we got in there, it
was a 'little' worse than we had thought....lol.....yeah, it sure feels and
looks like it.

Rant done:-I

I'm afraid I don't understand this logic. You pay for 3-day delivery.
You get 3-day delivery. Just because UPS won't give you service above
that for which you paid you will never do business with them again?

I could give hundreds of analogies that would make that seem silly, but it's
late and time time to get off here. I guess it's just me, IF I worked there and
I saw this package sitting there for three days and it was the last stop or
second to last, that'd make it get there a day earlier. I'd send it.

I know me, I'd send it. Because' they' paid for ground shipping (which is a
long story) and I was rushed by 'someone.' They wouldn't trust me to send the
next day the amount for priority shipping and shipped it off without getting
back with me on it.

Like I said before, as a customer you don't have rights anymore, they say you
do. You must fight tooth and nail, you HAVE TOO trust me on this, I wouldn't
make it up but I'm not going to get into things I've run into that was FLAT OUT
wrong and NOT my fault in the least. But you have a choice.

You don't like my choice? That is fine, you're not me,
so....................:-)

Question:if something was sent out from RadioLabs on the May 6th and it's
already in the UPS tracking as to be here on May13th (Thurs.)......is there a

days.

UPS has guaranteed transit times. The only time they will beat the
guarantees is if you use something like 2nd day to a 1 day guaranteed
destination, or 3 day to a 2 day guaranteed destination. For example
if you pay for 3 day select for Los Angeles to Phoenix, you will get
it in 2 day. Phoenix to Los Angeles is a 2 day guaranteed ground
service to begin with.

If it was shipped ground, and has quoted 5 business day transit time,
you can bet you will see it on the 5th business day, and not one day
sooner.

In short, the odds on arrival by the 11th if UPS says the 13th are
nil.

Just curious as to others experiences from UPS ground coming from RadioLabs
with others in here.
*Also, has anyone ever have a DX394 modded by Lowbander in here and own a
398/909 and tell me how they compare, or if it's just a waste.

I've had stuff show up a day early, when it just happens to make
connections (arrival scan and departure scan within a few minutes
of each other) that they had not counted on in the schedule, in some
distant state.

Look in the tracking early on the day early and see where it is.
