Les I just checked 10512 at 1150 and the signal is no longer audible here. Either it is not currently on, or not propagating here. I am hearing something albeit quite faintly at 2326 UTC on 5/16. Sounds pretty
cool. John Barnard Dan wrote: On Sun, 16 May 2004 07:57:00 -0400, N8KDV wrote: Les &/or Claire wrote: Hi all! right, name that noise time. Here in S.Kent UK on 10.512 USB. I'm hearing again at 22:00 on 5/16. This gets my vote as the weirdest **** I've ever heard on the radio. I am, SYSYPHUS' SISTER I'm hearing it on 5/19 at 0052-UTC. Signal strength is averaging S-9 on the R8B with a 20-meter inverted-L. QTH is upstate NY. I've heard this signal before. It's similar to the one I first heard in the early 80's. My guess is it's some kind of ionospheric test signal. -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 100,000 Newsgroups - 19 Different Servers! =----- |
