I can't believe that people still use their real name and real ISP email address on places like usenet and Yahoo Groups. I haven't used my real name or address for years. I don't get *any* spam. I don't get *any* email viruses. The only public email address I have is a Hotmail address. Dan I guess that's understandable although I can't imagine posting under anything but my name and address. Of course when I got my first domain in 1993, there wasn't a lot of spam but I still answer to that address in 2004. For "fact-based" UseNet groups, I have no trouble with people wearing falsies but - as soon as the topic goe to "political/religious", I start killfooling anyone who doesn't have the integrity to stand up for her/his/its beliefs. It's simply a matter of morality to me. And, of course, your milage may vary.
