There are lots in the area of 28.150-28.250 MHz. I have a beacon logger
program that I use just to log 10 meter beacons. Last winter, I could almost
daily receive a Hawaii beacon here in SE Minnesota, and I heard lots of
beacons from South America, Mexico and the west coast of Canada.
