You can also try 6020 from about 1000-1300 UTC. I wake up it daily, using
the same radio as you (R-75) w/ 200 m wire circling the house. Some
chinese thing or other messes it up at 1230 UTC here @ 52N 102W.

The christmas carols in Chinese in December are kind of a giveaway.

9590 and 9580 are also coming in good at that time of day.

Vatican Radio uses 6020 in Mandarin starting at 1230 via the Philippines
directed to the Far East.
