Hi Mike,

thanks for the URL and resource links ;-)

I am researching amateur radio shortwave transceivers/receivers, with a
preference to models with general coverage HF shortwave receiving
capability (e.g., ICOM IC735/745, kenwood TS430s and so on) and WARC band
capability (I'm a licensed ham, but also a "born again" SWL ;-).

Are there any reviews which emphasize the shortwave performance of these
radios? The ham mag reviews are focused on transmitter and SSB
performance, but rarely comment on AM and SWL related capabilities and
strong signal issues.

thanks for any tips or URLs!

regards bobm
