I wanted something I could put on one page on my fridge and look at to
see what's available if I want to listen to some news. The BBC is my
personal favorite but they go to bed so early Pacific Time. I wish
they had a broadcast for us all night after 10PM. The Pacific doesn't
seem to be a priority for them.

I can get the BBC African stream at 0400 UTC on 6005, and at 0500 on 9410
and 6195. The 6005 is usually the best, but I am listening on LSB usually.
I'm way north of you and somewhat east (central Saskatchewan, Canada).
