I was listening to our local left wing radio station here last week -
they talked about the protest at the Halliburton board meeting. They
commented further that both Halliburton and Kellogg, Brown & Root got
their start in big projects by contributing to the campaigns of Lyndon
B. Johnson.

Once he got to congress, he helped them get lots and lots of big
government projects. And when he became president, they REALLY got
big. They were permanent fixtures at most military bases in the US
and many abroad.

Competitive bids? Why bother, we have Halliburton and KBR.

Hmmmmm .. I'm confused .. I thought Kommie-Krat politicians were
friends to the poor and helpless .. and here goes LBJ making big
business bigger and richer.

Why cloud the issue with facts - let's blame Bush and Cheney.
