Don't have a link - just heard it on the radio
Something about George Tenet resigning as CIA Director.

One of Bush's bigger mistakes--retaining a Clinton-era holdover from
an administration that sowed the seeds of our current problems by
fiddling while Rome burned.

"When you think of statesmen, you think of people who seized historic
opportunities to change the world for the better, people like Roosevelt,
people like Churchill, and people like Truman, who understood the
challenges
of communism. And this president has been an agent of change for the
better -- historic change for the better."

- Condolezza Rice, commenting this morning on CBS
(..playing her part as the GOP's female 'token negro'
ass-kiss when Powell ain't playin Uncle Tom at the UN
for the cameras)

....this president has been an agent of historic change alright - a
historically simplistic and moronic foreign and economic policies the U.S.
has ever had.

Typical Liberal... whenever a person of colour gets to a good position they are

It's just the opposite. The conservatives are the ones against
'affirmative action' and quotas to make sure the 'visible
minorities' get placement.

A Liberal would most likely demand 'persons of colour' get career
placements just to show everyone how liberated they are and
qualifications for the 'placee' become a secondary need.

I disagree. Stop and think about it... Conservatives have a great desire to see
everyone succeed.

Because... if they succeed it means less taxes and less public support that they will
need.

On the other hand, the Liberals desire that certain 'groups' fail, so that they might
champion their cause and get them to vote for them.

Conservatives = Success for all.

Liberals = Success for a few, failure for many (their constituency)

I am a Conservative, I want everyone to succeed, no matter what colour, religion, or
their national origin.
