Say what you will about Reagan the politician; this much I know:

In 1979, my father was unemployed. In 1981, he was working
two jobs (happily).

I still give Reagan the credit for that.

On a more global level, hundreds of millions of human beings
are free, at least in part to the Gipper's efforts.
