I disagree----I have ordered several times from them and received
excellent service *every time.* Boy are we lucky! Universal Radio is still around Group: rec.radio.shortwave Date: Mon, Jun 14, 2004, 11:30pm (EDT+4) From: (Dan=A0Conti) I'm glad they stopped the lunatic, but I have no love for Universal Radio. They NEVER have anything in stock, and offer the WORST customer service in the industry. Dan The news today tells of an Al Quaida plut to blow up a shopping center in suburban Columbus Ohio. They got the guy. Universal, athough not in a shopping center (in fact it IS a shopping center for DXers), might have been damaged. And their area was the locale for the freeway shooter last year who killed at least one motorist. And I bet Fred thought he'd be safe out there! |
