Default CoastGuard Freq. 5696khz

Is this still an active frequency for the U.S. Coast Guard. It used to be
very active here on the east coast. I haven't heard anything of this freq.

As far as I know it is still active as is 8983.

As far as I know it is still active as is 8983.


5696 still active at 0152.

8983 seems to be the daytime primary freq, 5696 is the nighttime freq.

CAMSLANT and a helo up on 5696 at 1153. The freq. is still active.
