Default International Parcel Despatch from Singapore to the United States

I recently ordered two radios from Singapore and I am having them sent to
the United States. The company advised me that they are sending these
International Parcel Despatch. I have tried a Google search, but to no
avail. Does this just mean the regular mail system? Or is this a variation
of FedEx, UPS, DHL or something of that ilk?
