They cannot come and go freely, whenever and wherever they choose. Another example of how "Free" US citizens are. http://www.pakistantimes.net/2004/07/23/wire5.htm Chess legend Fischer faces possible 60 day detention in Japan Pakistan Times Wire Service TOKYO (Japan): Fugitive US chess legend Bobby Fischer could be held up to 60 days in detention while Japanese authorities decide whether to deport him for immigration violation, a justice ministry official said Friday. Fischer, 61, wanted by the United States since the early 1990s for breaking an economic embargo on Yugoslavia, was arrested at Tokyo's Narita airport on July 13 for violating immigration law as he tried to catch a flight to Manila. The United States revoked Fischer's passport last December. He faces up to 10 years in prison if he is found guilty. -- He was playing Chess in country the US government didn't like, 10 Years In Jail for You. This is Steve's Idea of Freedom. I support dxAce completely in this. Fischer deserves the DEATH penalty. He was actually caught on video tape playing CHESS against the wishes of the United States government. A country, if it is to survive as a nation, can *NOT* have it's citizens playing chess anywhere and anytime they see fit. Fischer and all the other rogue chess players should be sent, at the very minimum, to Abu Graib Torture Centre, where they will be taught to respect rightful American Government Authority. This disease of disrespect, so rampant in our Chess playing population, must be nipped in the bud before infecting other, still law abiding groups. Imagine outlaw CHECKER gangs. Mobs of vandalizing BRIDGE players and murderous Monopoly enclaves come to mind. Death to Fischer! It's for the good of all. Bless America and may God continue to guide the President's hand against the evil Islamic hordes who most likely invented this game of Satan that has so twisted the souls of unfortunates like the now Demonic Fischer. mike |
