SWR Meter

Micronta 21-525B. Reading the instructions from the web and it says "Push
transmit button and rotate the calibration control until the meters needle
aligns with the Cal mark"

The problem is the CAL mark is 1" wide , sorta like this, on the right side
of the meter.

cal

Do you adjust to the beginning of the area, middle or far right where the
CAL is printed? The entire CAL area is in red.

Thanks!

My guess is all the way to the CAL mark... I seem to remember having one of
those.

My MFJ VHF SWR meter is pretty much the same, all the way to the right by the CAL
mark.

Thanks for the quick response. I was afraid of that answer and the rest of
the calibration is way off if I set it to the far right! Back to work I go!
Thanks again!

The tic mark next to SET or CAL is the alignment point. The red band
indicates an excessively high SWR when in measurement mode (after
calibration). I have a Micronta 21-520A and would not consider it to be very
accurate.
