For the fun of it I typed in shortwave.com and it leads to a list of shops
that sell shortwave radios. On the right side if you click shortwave radio,
it opens a page and on that page is a web link called freegiftworld.com. It
says if you do two offers you get a free Grundig 350. I wonder if this is
just spam or is actually valid? I actually did one of these promos once and
did get the offer. But, I tried two others and got nothing. So it seems to
be a hit or miss thing.

A lot of low-class, sleazy operations are around which try to bank on
popular domain names and mistyped ones, too. I wouldn't be surprised
if it were just another idiot trying to make money of people clicking
links on the page.

The domain is own by some outfit claiming to be "Moniker Privacy
Services" which has the same address of other so-called businesses.
One such entity at the same exact Florida location is "International
Preferred Enterprises, Inc" claiming to be a real-estate company.
Also, "Domain Systems, Inc." trying to sell domain names which is
oddly enough registered to "MONIKER ONLINE SERVICES, INC."

Seems a little less than refutable. Instincts and experience lead me
to believe that they're trying to earn some money from referrals by
people clicking on those links.
