0500 UTC (near sunrise local time) around end June. That's 7,500 miles from this QTH -- John Plimmer, Montagu, Western Cape Province, South Africa South 33 d 47 m 540 s, East 20 d 07 m 541 s. When I lived in West Palm FL, Bahamas radio on 810 KHz was good copy even in the daytime. Has anyone copied any of the 3 active stations at night? 810 KHz, 1240KHz, 1540 KHz? Might be interesting during Frances pass -- Dale W4OP for PAR Electronics, Inc. |
