Since you were using a Typewriter Ribbon, letters got filled with Ink. The letter "e", being a commonly used letter, used to get clogged up quite often, meaning you had to eventually clean the letters on the typewriter with a "Q" tip and Alcohol. If you didn't clean the keys, the ink would build up, eventually giving you a smudgy looking letter. And that ties in with this how? dxAce |
