If you look at the logs Bryant posts you'll find he logs a station about every two minutes.

When he tunes something in, if he doesn't recognize it right away, he looks it up on a schedule, finds the best fit, writes it down, and moves to the next one.

Reminds me a bit of the cell phone ad "can you hear me now?"

Purists feel you should wait until the station gives positive identification.

He's bound to get some errors, so I'd be concerned if he was doing it for national security. But most of his logs probably are accurate.

If you look in the archives, you'll find he's been a colorful character, and used to spend a lot of time in flame wars - calling just about anyone who disagreed with him a racist - even if race had nothing to do with the discussion.
