I see it comes from a smoke free environment. It's good to know the buyer is
getting a scanner that won't die of lung cancer. Damp free environment too.
Good. Pneumonia not a big threat either (I hate radios that have the
sniffles).

TAR can really mess up your hybrid/analog radio gear.
Stiffened/stuck parts and/or contact problems are common,
and it is a bitch to clean up the radios back to working order.
YES , a smoke free environment is a must for top performance.
