Evening MX DX Log with 7600gr from NJ

Seems to be a good night for MW DX. Here are some of the big boys that I
was able to hear tonight from NJ. I used the Sony-7600gr without an
external antenna. The ssb selectable am synch works like a charm for MW DX.
All the logs below were made between 3:00 UTC to 4:30 UTC

680 WRKO; Boston, MA: weak with QRN

720 WGN; Chicago, IL: weak with QRN

740 AM; Toronto, Canada: good signal

750 WSB; Atlanta, GA: weak with QRN

810 WGY; Schnectady, NY; good signal

830 (I think WCCO, Minneapolis, MN... couldent get a sure ID. Was a
football game that had a QB named Robinson)

840 WHAS; Louisville, KY: good signal

940 Montreal, Canada: good with some QRN

1000 WMVP; Chicago, IL: very good signal

1020 KDKA; Pittsburg, PA: very good signal

1030 WBZ; Boston, MA: good signal

1060 KYW; Philadelphia, PA: good signal

1080 WTIC; Hartford, CT: good signal

1090 WBAL; Baltimore, MD: very good signal

1100 WTAM; Cleveland, OH: very good signal

1110 WBT; Charlotte, NC: very good signal

1140 WRVA; Richmond VA: weak with QRN

1180 WHAM; Rochester, NY: good signal

1210 WPHT; Philadelphia, PA: good signal

1220 WHK; Cleveland, OH: weak to good with QRN

1500 WTOP; Washington, DC: weak to good with QRN

1510 WWZN; Boston, MA heard here along with WLAC; Nashville, TN.

1520 WWKB; Buffalo, NY: weak with QRN

1530 WSAI; Cincinnati, OH: weak with QRN

1540 WPTR; Albany, NY heard here along with KXEL Waterloo, IA

Nice list. I picked up the same stations with the same radio. I'm in NYC.
The Kaito 1102 can also do the job but not nearly as well. I also used an
old Sangean 818 that worked well but the synch on the Sony is great for
MW DX.

Yep, 8-3-0 is WCCO, the local (for me) flame thrower. Nice catches, thanks
for the logs!
