Binaries are usualy mime(or something else)-coded inline "text" or in
most cases are attached files. And right, nothing of this was done.
It was pure plain text.

But: it was 89 Kb wich is a lot more than 50 Kb. Some do declare
postings larger than 50 Kb to be binaries per se or at least unwanted in
nonbinary newsgroups. Regardless what they contain for some good reason.
