So you think I should go a random single wire? What kind of transformer do you mean? I research I did on ants say you need 4 leads for a blaun to work. What can add to a single wire? You can wind up a transformer so that you only need 3 leads, rather than grounding it at the feedpoint. This is the same concept that the RF Systems Magnetic Longwire Balun (MLB) uses. It then uses your receiver ground as an aid in completing the path. Here, I'm using 10:1 homebrew matching transformers and they are grounded at the feedpoint, but as I've said, there is a way to get around that if it is not practical or feasible.
