Lindstrom's got crappies
and thick ice, so maybe I'll head up there
in January for a weekend? Especially if I get
a couple of days.

Ice fishing... there's something I've never done. Other than too many viewings
of Grumpy Old Men, I don't know enough about it or have the time to travel and
give it a shot. Do you bring your shortwave with you when fishing? Since it can
get so cold I'm thinking some kind of DX companionship would be nice! (Along
with a few beers or better yet, some kind of hot toddy)...
