Hello RHF,
Actually, the comparison is quite valid and, perhaps, one could argue that the onus is on Radio Sawa to build an audience/relationship within a relatively short period of time. Budget only goes so far with regards to programming content and Radio Sawa needs to focus on "..the next generation of Middle east Youth" quickly. al-Jazeera certainly has history on its side but history isn't everything. In other words, even the "little guy" can win every now and again! Good DX John Barnard RHF wrote: MT, Comparing 2 year old Radio Sawa with a $22M budget to 10+ year old al-Jazeera with a much larger budget is really dumb. Radio Sawa is doing the right thing, first building an Audience, and then building a relationship with the Audience. Radio Sawa is in a generational struggle for the hearts and minds of the next generation of Middle east Youth. ~ RHF Stuff snipped |
