Thank You For hams you dont need any mods at all. The R-75 has a sync detector that is not effective. Its audio quality can also stand to be improved. Both issues can be improved with simple, inexpensive and reversible mods. Kiwa offers those two mods as well as a few others for the R-75. See the link below. http://www.kiwa.com/R75.html I have an R-75 and I have both the synch mod and the audio mod. Neither of those two problems I mentioned will be a factor in listening to hams or any sort of ssb utility. If you also like to listen to sw broadcast too, the mods will help. Michael |
