It's 0435 UTC on Wednesday, and here in Seattle I can't even pick up Fort
Collins which usually comes in pretty well. For that matter, I can't get a time check anywhere. Of course, Dr. euGene Scott's coming in loud and clear out of Denton, Texas. Argh. I'm picking up a few transmissions here and there, but this has to be one of the worst nights I've seen in the few short months that I've been at this. I'm still trying to muddle my way through solar fluxes, indexes, etc. Can anyone recommend a site explaining said phenomena that's aimed at rookies like myself? And has anyone else noticed this lousy reception tonight? Any explanations? Thanks as always! |
