radio marti jingle english translation
Hi, just wondering what the main jingle on Radio Marti means in
english? It's the one where the guy is singing-the one that is repeated many times. Thanks. |

Celia Cruz is the absolute most famous Cuban singer, who passed away earlier this year. She was a life-long opponent to the tyrannical Castro government. Unless someone can capture the whole jingle and send it to me in MP3 or RA format, I can't possibly translate it all. It is a little poem or song about Cuba and Marti's contribution. Basically, it sings of broadcasting on Radio Marti to Cuba, with the flavor of Cuba and the promise of truth and liberty. It uses very colloquial Cuban language and references. |
