They've always said I was a gifted child. It seems strange to me that
people would give children away as presents. Christmas was always
horrible at house, what with daddy always throwing up on the tree and
stuff. One year he started touching Uncle Phil and got everybody really
upset, so they all left and didn't visit again.

It's not something I like thinking about much.

Hmmm. Considering the fact that he had sex with a Canadian, and some sex
offenses open you up to court-ordered and open-ended involuntary commitment
as you mentioned, I'd say it might be a long time at that. Your dad was
