"John Barnard" wrote in message ... Brian, During a CBC strike in the early 80's, RCI SW transmitters were off the air and a pirate by the name of Radio Clandestine did broadcast on one of the RCI frequencies in the 25 mb. I caught it as I was bandscanning. It can happen that some pirates broadcast inside the "usual" SW bands. Good DX John Barnard That was a good catch John. I'm from the west coast and real pirates are a rare thing out there. I did catch a few over the years out there but now that I'm in MN its all the time. I'm having fun. I've logged several different ones since I moved here. -- 73 and good DXing. Brian ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A lot of radios and 100' of rusty wire!
