Ah well. I'll log a pirate one of these days. It makes sense that it was DW, though. It was coming in -really- strong, and they typically do for me in Seattle. I must admit though, the way they went off the air kind of surprised me. It was like someone pulled their plug at the top of the hour. I kind of figured they'd have timed their programming a little bit better than that; it didn't sound very professional. Your best bet for logging a pirate is on a Saturday night or a holiday, especially Halloween. Start listening at local sunset to 6955 +/- about 50-Khz. Keep trying and you'll eventually hear one. Most pirates use regular AM but a few can be heard on SSB. ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 100,000 Newsgroups ---= East/West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =--- |
