Default Radio Uganda

After a long absence from the 60 meter band, Radio Uganda was received in
Sofia with its program "Red Channel" on 4796 kHz and with "Blue Channel" on
5026 kHz, the latter being badly interfered by Radio Tashkent. Both stations
broadcast in English from 2030 UTC.

Radio Uganda confirms reports very seldom, but you can try to: Radio Uganda,
P.O.Box 2038,
Kampala, Uganda.

They, like many other stations used to QSL on a more frequent basis. Sometimes
it's a matter of waiting (for years at times) for a person favourable to QSL'ing
to rotate into position at the station.

Uganda QSL'd here back in 1982 for a reception on 15325 kHz.

Do they still use the fast drumming interval signal?

And yet again, Mike Terry gets his butt chewed by Glenn Hauser (not the first
time mind you):

"For those who may be inclined to take this at face value, it is left to me to
point out that Uganda is really on 4976, not 4796. When reposting stuff like
this, please check it first? Glenn"
