Default Coax questions.

Can someone tell me if they have any experience in dealing with the following
type of coax.

RG-6 / Type flame arrest / 18AWG / Solid bare copper.
It says on the box "Belden- New Generation".

I know it can basically be used for anything.... I'd imagine... but would there
be a particular usage for this particular coax that would be best for?
Shortwave/Scanners/TXing

Thanks guys
