Hi Steve, thanks for the reply. I am familiar with the Wellbrook and have read a lot of reviews on it, all good ! But I live on a ground floor apartment and I am limited to indoor antennas. Any good ? 73, Frank Hi Frank, I have the LA350 and it's an excellent antenna, especially if you live in a noisy environment. If you search on "LA350" I'm sure you'll find other posts in the archives. The only drawback to the LA350 is its price. If you buy it along with the optional MW and LW loop elements, you'll probably spend more for it than you would for one of the popular Wellbrook loops. While I've never used a Wellbrook and can't compare it to the LA350, what I read makes me think that it's probably a superior antenna and a better value for the money. It comes in both indoor and outdoor versions. Another advantage of the Wellbrook loops is that they don't require you to adjust any sort of preselector in step with your receiver. The LA350 does require this and you might find it a pain in the behind. There are also loop elements that you have to change from time to time. Steve Well, Wellbrook also makes indoor loops. Perhaps someone can tell you a bit about them? I myself would like to know how they compare to the LA350. Steve |
