Has anyone ever used one of the magnetic loop antennas sold by Waters
and Stanton?

Get a load of the prices on these things! I'm not in the market for
one, but I'm curious about whether anyone can comment on the
performance of these antennas.

Apparently magnetic loops work very well. I use a (homemade) loop for LF
reception (150-500khz) and compared to my longwire its great.

Actually, I should have pointed out that these are not just receive
only antennas and I'm sure this has something to do with the higher
price. If any of you radio amateurs have used one of these, I'd like
to know how it performed.
