Default DJ Peel's final radio show to air tomorrow (friday)

John Peel graced the airwaves for over three decades

The final programme John Peel recorded for the BBC World Service before he
died is to be broadcast on Friday.

Peel died last month at the age of 65 after suffering a heart attack while
on holiday in Peru.

Before leaving to go on holiday he recorded three music shows ready for
transmission.

Introduced by Mark Coles, the final show will air at 1030 GMT and features
music from Sweden, Germany, the US, and new Liverpool band Ella Guru.

Peel was BBC Radio 1's longest-serving DJ and in recent years had also
presented Home Truths on Radio 4 - a whimsical look at family life.
