Bennett Brothers has been around for many decades. I've bought a lot of
merchandise from them, including shortwave radios. Never had any
problems. The Sony radio would be an authorized sale with a US warranty.

I suspect they are discontinuing the 7600GR because of slow sales.

Using that logic then they must be discontinuing the Grundig S350, G2000A,
FR200, 100PE
and GE SuperRadio III!

The must be sold out because the 7600GR no longer appears on the Bennet
Bros. site, unless I am missing something.

I was referring to slow sales of the 7600GR at Bennett Brothers only.
You didn't know they sold it before Joe's post did you? That's the
reason for slow sales.

IIRC - The 'Price' of the GE Superadio III has been under $40
at Bennett Brothers for over 10 Years and now is only slightly
above $40.
