So, which is it? "Death camp" where thousands are killed
for the crime of being jewish/muslim/whatever, or a prison
camp that has an execution chamber, where those who have
been convicted of capital crimes can be executed?

The whole shock value and (apparent) satisfaction of
saying "Death Camps" relys on the fact that like most
maximum security prisons in the US, the prison at
Guantanamo will have an execution chamber. Why we
haven't heard "the US has DEATH CAMPS all over it's
landscape!!" for the past 25 years or so probably has
everything to do with the current administrations' policies,
and not any real desire for change.

Therefore, shouting about this now when nothing has
really changed is the equivalent of the Howler Monkey
Syndrome. Just like the other thread; if you really wish
Americans dead or think they are stinking piles of crap,
why not do more than just hurl feces at Americans??
If we're really all degenerates who are a threat and
abomination to the world, why are you sitting at home
conversing with us??

It's easy enough to look deeper. I can understand why you wouldn't

THE US has floated plans to turn Guantanamo Bay into a death camp,
with its own death row and execution chamber. Prisoners would be
tried, convicted and executed without leaving its boundaries,
without
a jury and without right of appeal, The Mail on Sunday newspaper
reported yesterday.

The plans were revealed by Major-General Geoffrey Miller, who is in
charge of 680 suspects from 43 countries, including two Australians.
The suspects have been held at Camp Delta on Cuba without charge for
18 months.

General Miller said building a death row was one plan. Another was
to
have a permanent jail, with possibly an execution chamber.
