Hi all - getting back into Shortwave
Hi all After a 7 year absence I am getting back into listening to Shortwave Radio. The other day I was hunting around through my old QSL collection and found quite a few respectable catches including RFO New Caledonia on 666 khz medium wave. My favourite though is a QSL card I received form Radio Tampa in Japan. It folds up into a U - shape. There are 2 holes with plastic lenses in one end. You look through the holes at the other end of the card. Tthe left eye sees one image of Japan and the right another. The two meld into a 3d image which is really neat. What is your favourite QSL card? Also, one other question. Since 7 years ago the Internet has really taken off. I suppose it woulf be possible to send reception reports by email, possibly with a recording of reception in wav format. Do short wave radio statiosn now prefer emails + recordings or is it better to send in thr report by mail the old fashioned way? cheers Peter |
