What is "Voice of Antarctica"? I searched the web but couldn't come up
with much.

I think the point was that there probably is no 'Voice of Antarctica'...

Ever see the John Carpenter movie from 1982 called "The Thing" ??? May be
what he heard was Windows, the outpost radio operator trying to get in
contact with some one. The have a big problem down there :-)
