Was there a severe earthquake in LA in 1969? Or was the earthquake a
parable for the Manson murders?

The 1969 prophesy seemed familiar. I think it was one of those "Southern
California slides into the Pacific" stories.

The Last Day Profit of Gawd should know that a millimeter is LESS, not
more, than a meter. But what do I know? (Wait, Steve...don't answer
that. ) The Profit probably thought that a millimeter was 100 times a
meter, not a hundredth of a meter.

Q. What should the Prophet know?

A. More than his contributors.

I doubt it makes any practical difference if the Prophet knows the
relationship between a millimeter and a meter.

Always have a BiPap breathing machine on hand for times when you feel
compelled to listen to the Profit of Gawd. Such incidences of
interrupted breathing due to hyperventilation could be dangerous.

That's an excellent product for all Brother Stair's currently
non-contributing listeners. The Prophet could sell them alongside the
radios, prayer cloths and satellite receivers!

Well, since the vast majority of the Profit's followers are Americans,
and products of the American public school system, I doubt that most of
them have any idea about the intricacies of the metric system or even of
geography. Most Americans can't locate their home town on a map of their
state, and can't locate their state on a map of the US, AND can't locate
the US on a map of the world. Most of them have only the slightest idea
of the metric system-they know a 2 liter soda bottle and that's about
it. It's really pathetic-I bet Canadians are better educated than
Americans. Hell, MEXICANS are probably better educated than Americans.

I don't know if Canadians and Mexicans are better educated than Americans.
I have no doubt that America's poorly educated people are the richest poorly
educated people in the world. These poorly educated people are just so many
wildebeests at the watering hole for such economic predators as Brother
Stair.

50 millimeters? I wouldn't worry about 2 inch waves.

You missed by about ten years. It was the 70's. We were supposed to be
completely converted by 1978. It didn't happen for various reasons but
superiority of the Imperial system was not one of them. On the contrary, the
metric system is far superior in many ways. The biggest reason for the
engineering community to switch to the decimal system was to gain the
advantages of the metric system without having to change to unfamiliar
units.
