a preamp circuit for the telescopic whip antenna.
..
* Units produced after 01/01/96 (S/N = 6A) include coverage
down to 100 kHz (long wave) and have Selectable Sideband Syncro.
..
This SW8's Serial Number is: 4B12950064
So it would be one of the original early production units
without the three above "Improvements".
..
