LOL! I saw a slinky ("The Original") in a store the other day for $3.99.
Yeah, I thought about it for a good minute, then convinced myself it would rust out in no time. But I was *thiiiiiiisss* close to picking one up, just for the sake of comparing a slinky to a plain old wire... -=jd=- -- My Current Disposable Email: (Remove YOUR HAT to reply directly) Well, I did pick one up myself yesterday (Thursday), and plan to play with it myself on Saturday (seeing that I am officially laaid-off from the airline I work for on Saturday). We'll see if its any different from the 20' longwire that I use now, for SWL. the only thing I gotta do is sleep, eat, work, poop and pay taxes, everything else falls into the 'I'll get around to it" catagory. |

Some security guru was saying that in all probability, a national security card will be mandatory within the next eighteen months in order to get on a plane anywhere in the states. have you heard anything about that? mike |
I used to have one of those Slinky's back in the 1950's.It was fun
watching it "walk" down the steps. cuhulin |
They won't rust. They are made of stainless steel. I've had one up in my
backyard for over 3 years now. It is getting a covering of air pollutants, that's about it... "wilbur" wrote in message ... LOL! I saw a slinky ("The Original") in a store the other day for $3.99. I don't know... I had one that was copper plated. |
