You're right, of course. Death is usually a pretty sad time for all
involved. I wish him and his family all the best and may they get the
strength they need to get through this trial. The good Doctor has amassed a
great volume of work. It reflects his dedication to the calling.

I don't know why death worries me..having lived such a pure, wholesome,
modest, unassuming, self effacing and saintly life. I've won the Mister
Modesty Awards every year for the last three decades running and I hardly
ever mention it more than twice a week.

All in all, much like dxAce, I'm just too valuable a member of the Human
race to be going across the Styx any time soon.

Scott's life's work was to enrich himself and live
well. He certainly was a success at that. The theology
he preached (if "preached" is the right word for the jokey
riffing he performed) was weird to say the least and was often
offensive to me, and I'm under no obligation to take it
seriously, or respect him for it.
