Look at Rand. Lots of industrial stuff.

Those are pretty nice as workbenches.

What about radio consoles? With the ability to rack mount radios and video
displays? Something like what you may see at a commercial HF utility
station or like NASA's Houston Control. An ergonomically angled rack mount
vertical panel surface and a flat desk workspace in front of the panel?

Default Ham Radio Desks

Anyone direct me to a source/site with heavy duty ham radio desks for sale?
Prefer work bench style/block style with hutch to accomodate a 19" computer
monitor, etc.

You could make one yourself from a small pile of 2x4's, some particleboard
shelving boards, and a box of nails.

Would save you a ton in shipping.

Garry

I do not use a desk here but did buy very cheap a 10 foot length of counter
top. I put 2 two drawer file cabinets under the counter top and instant
large heavy duty desk

I use a standard corner office desk that was given to me. I did build a
small hutch out of a pine 1 X 12 which you can see on the left side of the
desk. The desk works quite well for me, and I like the space under the
monitor to place more radios, though I had to cut a hole in the back to run
cables through.

Wyle used to manufacture these, BUD makes them also though I have't
seen the style you are speaking of. Find some aerospace company that
is having a surplus sale and you're likely to acquire one.

Thank you Mr. Howard!
