If you go to their web site, one of the antennas shown
look a whole like like a spiral antenna. Hardly new or
earth shattering. I saw on back in the late 1960s.
The web site shows it under a pop drink cap, I guess for
RFID.
It is not unusual to talk around the world on 10mtrs (28MHz),
with one watt. Back in 1985 I talked with a ham in Papau New
Guinea with a modified JC Penny CB converted to the 10mtr
ham band. using a fairrly awful antenna, a base loaded converted
CB antenna, running about 1.2Watts PEP.
