You should talk to Kind Jewish Indian and Sir Sidney, too. Maybe have a reunion show with KT4TR and WB2OTK. |
Alright,
He can come and talk about his great antenna and tell us about some of the new thing he has coming out. I bought one of his great little Tiny-Tenna and I am still using it. I also got a great double YoYo antenna for my YB400 and it works great. It lets me get an "L" in rooms or on a balcony when I am traveling. Please be sure and let me know when he is going to be on, THANKS FOR ASKING HIM!!! -- Burr I voted right, I voted Republican. I wondered why all of a sudden we started getting so many TINYTENNA
orders all at once! That's all I've been working on today! Then someone alerted me to the fact that another TT troll was on the loose in RRS. We've been very busy with the YO-YO-VEE's, as discussed in WorldRadio, QST, CQ, etc. of late. So we haven't had too many TT orders until this past week or so. That's why it surprised us so! I guess any publicity is better than no publicity. Thanks everybody! Don't forget about DX RADIO SCHOOL on WWCR. We're tucked in with some nice company on Saturday nights: Glen Hauser, DX Party Line, Radio Weather, Adam & George. Tune in! 5.070 megs at 11:30 pm Eastern. (Yes, it airs at other times. But that's when the new editions begin.) 73....Bill Lauterbach - WA8MEA Host, DX Radio School Owner, DWM Communications http://qth.com/dwm ---------------------------------------------------------------- wrote: $19.95,for a Tiny-Tenna nowdays? Send me a little box with prepaid postage from me to you and I will let
y'all send me a Tiny-Tuner (with prepaid postage) that MIGHT work this time.It is like brand new, only has about six hours of use on it.What's the matter? Don't y'all gurantee them Tiny-Tuners to work? cuhulin |
Whatcha usin' dem dare TT's on, CuHu.....Cougar radios? Maybe a Bell &
Howell? Tried to tell ya'll dey wouldn't werk vary gud on dem dare cheep radidios. I'll give yoo a mucho better deal, CuHu. Yoo send it back...and I wil sent you a bran knew YO-YO-TENNA Dipole. Sound grate to yoo, CuHu??? Dat way, wen u git a passive antenna with no elektronik parts, you wil know it has bein yer radidio dat has had da problem. (Just remember to tell me what type of external antenna jack you have on your radio....) Have a good one guys. (And gals!) Speaking of gals, has anyone heard from Brenda Ann? I know the last place she was stationed at. But wondered if she was still able to take part in RRS. If you hear from her, tell her God Bless from the US of A and thank her from all of us for her service to our country. 73, Bill - WA8MEA DWM Communications - http://qth.com/dwm |
I tried out my Tiny-Tenna on my Panasonic AM/FM/Shortwave radio and my
GE AM/FM long distance radio and my Sears Wavfarer AM/FM/Shortwave radio and some of my other radios too and my Tiny-Tenna made absolutely no difference at all helping to pick up long distance radio stations regardless of which radios I tried it on or regardless of which radio stations I was tuning in.Why doesn't Tiny-Tenna stand behind their products? It could be Tiny-Tenna sent me a new defective product, things like that do happen sometimes.I am not and I will not spend so much as one red cent on another Tiny-Tenna anything,I struck out twice at ccrane company.I once drove a truck many years ago for an auto parts dealer company delivering parts all over town and once in a while a part was new defective. And the name is,cuhulin (CATTLE RAID OF COOLEY,over 700 years ago in Ireland.Look it up) cuhulin |
I bet those Bell & Howell radios have better antennas than Tiny-Tenna
has. cuhulin |
Speaking of gals??? I am looking for a rich old widow woman. If you see
one, send her on over here to me in Jackson,Mississippi. cuhulin |
Yep....sounds like a fine, group of quality radios there, CuHu(lin).
My offer still stands. One of my more expensive, passive dipole antennas...for the TT. Struck out at C. Crane too? Gee....you seem to have a lot of problems with dealers. Hmmmmmm. In spite of all of your antenna & reception problems, I hope you have a fine night.... (BTW....your usenet "handle" is coming up CuHu through the Google newsreader. Nothing personal, mind you.) 73, Bill - WA8MEA DWM Communications - http://qth.com/dwm |

I think you should share the profit you are making from the Trolling in the news group since everyone reading the it has to put up with it. You should be paying for your advertising. OK,you have a fine night too.But I will never buy anything from your
company ever again.Good Night now, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite.I know it gets very cold over there in Michigan.y'all stay warm now. cuhulin |
Yeah,I want my check too.Since I helped you sell more of them
Tiny-Tuna,, oooops,Tiny-Tuna Tennas. Two bits worth of parts and $19.95 per,Gee,I need to find me a racket like that. cuhulin |
Here is some information on my big time super duper works on most all
radios and reallyyyyyyy yanks in them radio stations from far and wide from all four corners of the World.(but it doesn't work at all for me and it never did the day it got here) A piece of Radio Shack (because it says so on my Tiny-Tenna that I own and it never did work at all for me) plastic circuit board measuring one and three quarter inches square.A little black thingy which looks kind of like a transistor to me,,,,,, (let me go get my magnafying glass,,,,,,,) I see a very tiny little brown colored round thingy (I don't know what it is) standing up,about three sixteenths diameter,it looks sort of like one of those smilies we have all seen on the internet before.I see two tiny little round sort of long thingys with four different colored skinny bands around both of those thingys and both thingys are laying on on the piece of Radio Shack plastic circuit board and they look like twins.A metal U shaped bracket that holds a nine volt battey.Coming up out of the bottom of the Radio Shack plastic circuit board is a two strand wire with a clip connector the nine volt battery snaps onto, one of the wires is red,the other one is black and coming up from the top of the Radio Shack plastic circuit board that two strand wire nine volt battery connector wire thingy meaures five and a half inches long.Another two strand wire, one of the wires is red,the other wire is green and the two strand wire has a plug on the end of it for plugging into a radio antenna jack, the wire/plug assembly measures from the top of the Radio Shack plastic circuit board seven and a quarter inches long.OK,I am fixin to wrap the long Tiny-Tenna antenna wire that comes up from the Radio Shack plastic circuit board around end for end around my plastic one foot long ruler and I am going to try to give y'all a halfassed accurate guesstimate of how long that antenna wire that has the Alligator clip on it is,,,, Stand By,,,,,,,,,, Go take a **** break if y'all need to,,,,,,,, it measures about seven and a half feet long,But I did say that is a guesstimate.Yes folks, two bits worth of Radio Shack parts and sell it for $19.95 plus $5.95 shipping & handling and y'all can get rich too! What a Life! I have to watch the North by Northwest movie on tb now. cuhulin |
Those two twin round thingys I talked about on my,IT DOES NOT WORK AND
IT NEVER DID WORK Tiny-Tenna,are Resistors.I was just now fumbling around in one of my junk boxes for something and I discoverd a package of five (count em,five) Radio Shack 2.2k-Ohm Resistors for something I was going to build a couple of years ago.Radio Shack,Part Number 271-1325. Pkg.of 5. 2.2k Ohm Resistors. Now,if only I can remember what it was I was going to build! cuhulin |
The parts,or some of them, are made in China.Anybody want to buy some
Chinese Popcorn? cuhulin |

I missed a month off work in 1969,gall bladder operation.I have never in
my life ever been late for work, not even once.I worked in factories and I drove a bread truck for Sunbeam Bakery (Koestler's Sunbeam Bakery,Vickburg,Mississippi) and I worked at Delta Cotton Oil company.Three years (RA,Regular Army) in U.S.Army.Before all of that,I had odd jobs such as working at a gas station,a paper route, mowing yards, ectera. cuhulin |
Something Tiny-Tenna needs to think about is making Antennas that
actually do work and perform as to their wild outrageous claims.Remember,I bought one of those Tiny-Tennas and it did not work at all. cuhulin |
Let ME interview him.
cuhulin |
Oh gee whiz, Cuhu. I see your problem now: You write backwards....so
you probably hooked up your battery backwards! Which reminds me....I had an Air Force pilot call me once and leave a message. He didn't know what a 9 volt battery was or how to "install" it! That's frightening, when you think of people like this defending our country..... I like you Cuhu. You're much funnier than some of the others in here in years past. What's the name of your trailor park? 73, Bill - WA8MEA DWM Communications - http://qth.com/dwm |
Oh, Burr....most of the trolling morons in here have NO concept of what
it COSTS to operate a small business in America. Not even a part-time business like ours. The taxes, the overhead. Your utility companies like phone, electric, heat, all charge you a higher rate because you're special....you're a BUSINESS. They see someone who takes $9 worth of parts and thinks he's making a $10 profit. They can't even imagine the other costs involved. But for some reason it's "evil" for an American to do this. But when it comes to a $19 product from Wal-Mart made by Chinese slave labor, well that's OK! Then there are the cigarettes, lottery tickets and beer that many trollers in these groups think nothing of wasting $19 on. In the words of W4JYZ...."It's so sad....so, so sad....." 73, Bill - WA8MEA DWM Communications - http://qth.com/dwm |
Actually, you have to send me a check, Telly. There is no profit in
what I do. In fact, there are more losses than anything. If we break even, it's a good year. It's just a part-time cottage industry that I enjoy doing to help swl's and hams. Nothing more, nothing less. Let me know when you send it.... 73, Bill - WA8MEA DWM Communications - http://qth.com/dwm |
Always blame the antenna....NEVER the radio. A good policy.
Again....put your money where your mouth is. I will GIVE you a FREE passive dipole antenna to prove you wrong. Why won't you take me up on the offer? In fact....keep the TT. Just tell me where to send the antenna, and what plug I should use for the antenna. You doth protest too much. I'm beginning to think you're the fella we discussed on DX Radio School. The fella who also bought the Justice(sp?) Antenna from C. Crane and claimed that was junk, too???? Is every antenna you buy from every dealer junk??? I'd like to have you on my show. You seem to be THE EXPERT on shortwave radio. Can we call you for tomorrow's taping??? 73, Bill - WA8MEA (No expert....just an amateur....) DX Radio School (For times and freqs, please visit: http://www.wwcr.com) |
I have never bought or used a Justice antenna before.I used to listen
Chuck Harder www.forthepeople.org www.chuckharder.com on my radios.I have listened to his radio talk show for more than twenty years. He used to be on an AM radio station in this area, either WJNT or WMPQ,I don't remember which station now. Then he went to Shortwave radio, then to satellite. One of the reasons I am going to buy myself a Lyngsat satellite set top box with the dish and hand held remote control in two months is so I can pick up his programs again and there are many other free to air tv and radio programs on Lyngsat too.I used to hear Bill Laterbach's radio commercials about Tiny-Tenna on Chuck Harder's radio talk show. One day I decided to buy one of those Tiny-Tennas,so I placed my order.I was believing those radio commercials about the Tiny-Tenna too. When it got here,I followed the instructions exactly.I installed a fresh 9 volt battery and I tried my Tiny-Tenna out on some of my radios.I couldn't hear any difference whatsoever.Either my Tiny-Tenna was defective when my Tiny-Tenna got here or those claims they make about the Tiny-Tenna are pure hogwash.Of course I know how to properly install a 9 volt battery.I have been useing 9 volt batteries in various things since back in the 1950's.Trailer trash, you say.I have never lived in a trailer before and I say it is wrong to say folks who live in trailers are trailer trash. Why don't you go visit some folks who do live in trailers? Why don't you go visit some folks who live in regular houses? Why don't you go visit some folks who live in apartments and hotels? Boy!,I sure was expecting my Tiny-Tenna to at least do something,I wasen't expecting miracles though.I wonder how many of the parts Tiny-Tenna uses to make those Tiny-Tennas are made in China? Look at the things you own, where were they manufactured? Look around in the stores, look at clothing articles that say,Made In U.S.A.Sure,perhaps the name tags on some of the clothing articles are Made In U.S.A.but where was the rest of the clothing article made/manufactured? Every one of my old eight vehicles I own was manufactured right here in U.S.A.My oldest vehicle dates from 1914,my newest vehicle dates from 1986.Fords,Chevrolets,and two old Jeeps,1942 Willys World War Two Jeep,1948 Willys Civilian Jeep and one Dodge vehicle that dates from 1978.I try to buy products manufactured here in U.S.A.whenever possible, but that is getting harder and harder to do as time goes by.What was the latest product/items you bought, today or yesterday or the day before? Where was it or they made/manufactured? What Country(s)? In China? I do not like buying products manufactured in China, but how can us Americans do otherwise? You Tell Me! I just now took another look at the package of five resistors I bought from a Radio Shack store a couple of years ago.Made in China for Radio Shack.A Division of Tandy Corp,it says right there on the package.I Love America as much as anybody else.I believe in America and American Capitalism.fed govt is selling us down the River more and more every day! You build a Tiny-Tenna that actually works and performs as you say it does and you test that particular Tiny-Tenna yourself and you send it to me and if does actually work as you say it will,I will tell the World,I will help you sell more Tiny-Tennas.Keep the power adapter/wall wart,as they say.I got "took" on my Tiny-Tenna I bought from you,I am not going to send money and get "took" again. cuhulin |
I was just now thinking.I think my Tiny-Tenna would make a good Fishing
Lure. All I would have to do is tag a Fishing Hook on there,it already has a line on it about seven and a half feet long.BassPro is building a new BassPro store just across the Pearl River from Jackson by a Lake over there in Pearl,Mississippi and folks driving along I-20 over there will be able to see the BassPro store and that will help drag in more customers for BassPro and about a year or so ago I read in the Clarion Ledger www.clarionledger.com the Atlanta A's are going to move to Pearl. There is a new Baseball Stadium being built in Pearl or so I heard.Yeah,I can get over there and show them folks how good my Tiny-Tenna Fishing Lure works. It would make a neat unique and ufonious Christmas Tree Ornament too.Heck,I might as well get some kind of use from my Tiny-Tenna,after all,I paid about $10.00 plus shipping and handling charges for it about seven something years ago.Come on folks,1001 uses for Tiny-Tennas? I am fixin to go over to the Goodwill thrift store in about an hour to see what kind of junk is over there I don't need, there might be Tiny-Tenna over there too.Drinking? I buy a sixpack of Bud Light when I go to the food store once a week.Last Wednesday about a week ago was the last time I went to the food store so as soon as I check out the Goodwill thrift store this afternoon,I will go on over to the food store too.I haven't had a drink since Tuesday night,so I know I am sober.I never drink and drive.Nawwwwww dude,I am not going to be on any of your radio shows for love or money. cuhulin |
You never read where I have ever blamed any Antennas on anything.I was
blaming my Tiny-Tenna which has proved to me years ago is not a real Antenna or even a pretender to being a real Antenna at all. cuhulin |
(I'm so sorry folks.....but I CANNOT resist.....)
Hey! CuHu!! DO NOT plug the 3.5 mm jack INTO the earphone jack. That IS NOT where the TT jack is suppose to go! That's why your TT won't work! You are cutting off the sound! You put the TT in the ANTENNA jack! OK??? Good.... (Somebody actually did this once. I kid you not! And then you wonder why Customer Service reps at your cable TV, sat TV, phone company talk down to you? Cuz people can be just dumber than rocks!) 73, Bill - WA8MEA ---------------------------------------------------- wrote: You never read where I have ever blamed any Antennas on anything.I was blaming my Tiny-Tenna which has proved to me years ago is not a real Antenna or even a pretender to being a real Antenna at all. cuhulin |
