For your perusal, a Russian HAM Radio site, of little use to me, as I
don't speak Russian. But, and I have a big but, for some strange reason, the (I don't know how to put it in computerese), the page that contains all the links to all the pictures and text used by the page is in English. Perhaps whoever compiled their page spoke English. But, and I have a big but, even stranger, there are numerous PDF files on this page (not extensive, but interesting), some are of manuals, and some are Service Manuals, and they are in English. There are also executable programs. I viewed the instruction manuals for a couple of radios, they were posted in PDF format, and I saved them to the drive and scanned them for viruses before viewing. No problems though. They are in English. Let me know what you think, perhaps someone knows some of the .exe by their names. Go he http://hamradio.online.ru/ftp2/ this is where the files are. If you click the link at the top on the above page, described as "Parent Directory", you go he http://www.cqham.ru/ AH HA! I found an English entrance into the site, so this explains it somewhat. Anyway, give it a look if you wish. http://www.cqham.ru/sch_eng.html Anyway, on this page, some of the links do not seem to be adequately explained. Simply hold the mouse pointer on the various links and the description will be seen in the script on the bottom of the browser. Dr. Artaud |
