There is a guy in Russia and one day I saw a message of his on the
internet about five years ago.He builds little wooden scale models of
cars and trucks and ships. He was wanting to know how and where to
advertise his products in America.I don't remember what all I told
him,but I did help him out in some way.I got an email from him later on
saying,Thank you the better for the kind attention.

Being monolinguistic myself, I have to rely on the "online translation
sites" in order to read some of the foreign pages.

http://babelfish.altavista.com/
http://translation.langenberg.com/ (excellent resource, many languages)
etc.

Anyway, it's quite hilarious to read the pages after they have been
translated from the foreign language into English.

It's better than nothing, and easier than learning 20 languages. Yet the
end result is oft times quite unpredictable.
